The first day will address the need for creativity and innovation in today’s organizations, the need to explore assumptions about creativity and innovation, and the characteristics of the creative person and process. Participants will be invited to apply creative thinking to their own organizational issues. Theory, practice, and reflection will continuously be linked in order to provide an actionable learning experience.

The second day will focus on a creativity and innovation in groups and organizations, and address such issues as the nature of group creativity, fostering environments that promote innovation, barriers to creativity, and cultural factors in innovation.

 Day 3: Friday , Sept 25 , 2003

Managing For Innovation: Leadership And Assessment

The third day will focus on managing innovation in one’s own organization. This day will stress the integration of the previous material into a process of innovation design,  reflect and assess individual and group learning, and the development of an action plan.
