The inevitable changes in the world environment are creating new opportunities and challenges to the Asian business community.  The need for creativity and innovation in today’s organizations should not just depend on happen-stance but rather be an in-built competency resident in individuals, team and the organization. Many organizations must be able to assess its own creativity quotient and innovative capabilities so as to position the business in a way that optimizes its global competitiveness.

This program aims to blend the practical with the theoretical.  We will explore, examine and discuss the major theoretical approaches and emerging trends in the field of creativity and innovation.  Issues tackled ranges from the having the right definition of creativity and innovation, identifying the creative individual and organization, fostering the right cultural and environmental factors to promote innovation, innovation and entrepreneurship, applied creativity and innovation in organizational processes, the leadership challenge, designing the organization for creativity and innovation etc.  All these will be discussed in the light of the impact to the business.
